Elizabeth’s website may be called EB Nutrition, but she is clearly more than a nutritionist. She is an amazing practitioner who is skilled at treating the source rather than the way many conditions are treated in this day and age-finding a way to mitigate the symptoms. Obviously when we address the source, the symptoms will take care of themselves.

She is wonderful at being able to listen to her clients, process what she hears, and offer ideas as to how to move forward. That is an art that one does not learn in school. It is partly innate and partly a trait that develops with years of experience.

Elizabeth knows her field and her products well, and is able to elicit a sense of confidence in the client about following her suggestions. This, in turn, enables her clients to feel hopeful about the path they are on that will lead to accomplishing their goals.

I have worked with Elizabeth on and off for about six years. This particular time, that began in August of 2014, was a very difficult one for me. I had just been diagnosed with over 40 food allergies. I had had an endoscopy that showed extreme inflammation, and was highly symptomatic (pain, bloating, gas, nausea, etc.) In addition to all of that, I am prediabetic so I have watched my carbohydrate intake very closely for years. The other piece to my puzzle is that I am a thin person who really should not lose additional weight. Putting all of that together, I began having extreme anxiety and panic attacks and my gastrointestinal symptoms seemed to be worsening by the day. I had also lost my appetite. I could see no light at the end of my very long, dark tunnel.

Elizabeth stepped in and knew how to prioritize my issues. I began supplements to help mitigate the pain in my stomach and to help it begin to heal. She had wonderful ideas on how to lessen my stress level, so that I could get a grip on my anxiety.

I am somewhat versed in many areas of nutrition, supplementation, and stress management. I have a background in counseling and I can quickly see through practitioners who “get it” and those who do not!!! I can see through those who listen and welcome input and ideas from their clients and those who do not.

Elizabeth “gets it”!!!! She is a great listener who shows empathy and encourages clients to be a part of the process. She looks forward to feedback and is more than willing to tweak a plan that may need some changes.

I can now say that I am seeing a lot of light at the end of my tunnel. I am feeling much better and have begun introducing new foods. It has been an interesting journey that has taught me a lot about what I need to do to take care of myself. I also have some wonderful tools at my disposal to help me mitigate stress (something impossible to get rid of completely in this day and age).

I am grateful to Elizabeth for all of her wonderful ideas, her listening ear, her patience, and her respect for me and what I was going through. She is a very special person.
